The Minecraft Universe in the Palm of your Hand

Building massive structures and buildings in the Minecraft Universe is already available on the Sony Xperia smartphone but thats all going to end this Thursday as Minecraft Developer Mojang confirmed that Minecraft will be available on all adroid phones September 29th. The “pocket” edition of Minecraft will look almost identical to the original pc version. Major difference with the original will be the lack of the regular updates, instead they rather implement those features that “make sense” for the touch-screen devices. For all the iPhone and iPad users, Mojang also confirmed a release coming to iOS.

As awesome as this looks, I just don’t think being touch screen only would work well. Maybe one of those dual touch screen and keyboard phones could work better…. Great idea, just not well implemented.
