Today Namco Bandai announced that their Ace Combat: Assault Horizon demo which was made available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last month has been downloaded over 1.2 million times already. Those are some pretty impressive numbers indeed. While there’s been loads of new player made gameplay videos uploaded over the past month, Namco have themselves today released a little storyline trailer of sorts to celebrate the demo’s huge success.

Yes I know, believe it or not this game claims to have a “story” to go along with all the action, even if it may very well be a generic and boring one at that. The game is due to hit shelves next week. While this trailer doesn’t really show any vital new footage per say, some of you still might be interested in checking it out to get a little background into the plot if it wasn’t obvious enough already to you from the past trailers.
