Assassins Creed 3 is Underway!

Now that all the Assassin’s Creed Revelations violence has died down we are ready to look forward to the actual official sequel title to Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed III. And it seems like the investors in Ubisoft were asking the same questions as CEO Yves Guillemot officially confirmed Assassin’s Creed III with a scheduled release date of October 30th 2012 in a conference call with investors this afternoon. He said: “Assassin’s Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general.”
This all sounds very promising but unfortunately no official new details were given during this conference call. A lot of rumors have been going around the internet about what they think or hope the new Assassin’s Creed III setting will be. One of those rumors is backed by a so called ‘leaked’ image. The image on the right shows Assassin’s Creed III set in the late 18th century during the French revolution.
We are curious what you think/hope will be the new setting of Assassin’s Creed III, let us know in the comments section below. Or join the Assassin’s Creed Series group and jump in on the discussions on the forum!

Still way too early. Doubt we will see anything for some time, they are still riding the Revelations train.
