Capcom has moved forward the release date of Resident Evil 6 by a month pushing it to October 2nd 2012 instead of November 20th. 2K Games released the official “The Darkness 2 Launch Trailer” exactly thirteen days before the game is due to hit the shelfs in the US and three days later in Europe. Capcom starts the second week of 2012 with releasing a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The awesome looking CG trailer shows a fight between US Spec Ops and Umbrella in Raccoon city. To complete the total mayhem the city is also over run with blood thirsty zombies attacking everything that comes on their path! The game’s out in the UK on March 23 and March 20 in the US for PS3 and 360, with no date for the PC version.

Doom 3 source code nearing public release says Carmack

Good news for programmers, game developers, modders and hobbyists, today id software’s John Carmack announced via a tweet that the full “doom 3 source is packaged and tested, we are waiting on final lawyer clearance for release.” Doom 3 was based on the id Tech 4 engine coded in C++ and used the OpenGL rendering library. Another beautiful Dead Island trailer

Deep Silver released another stunning Dead Island trailer today, this one is leading up to the game’s September 9th release date. I’m not sure if it’s the trailer that’s stunning or that hypnotizing beautiful theme song they keep using, it makes everything seem just so beautiful even if it’s not. I Am Alive reappears with leaked teaser

After almost 3 years with no news, a new “I Am Alive” trailer has surfaced online today. Ubisoft originally announced the game back in 2008 with a CGI trailer which we’ve also included below the new one however there was no news or info on the game until now. We don’t know when or even if the game is slated for release but if it is the new footage which includes some gameplay footage might give you a little taste of what to expect.
