Guild Wars 2 Announces Open Beta

This morning ArenaNet founder and president Mike O’Brien announced in a blog post that Guild Wars 2 will get an open beta in March or April 2012. The Darkness 2 Demo Coming Soon

Command and Conquer: Generals 2 Confirmed

The vague screenshot shown a month ago was a sneak peak of the new Generals title in the Command & Conquer franchise. Bioware confirmed that the game is due to launch in 2013 exclusively for PC during the VGA’s a few days ago. Command & Conquer: Generals 2 will run on the new frostbite 2 engine which was developed originally by DICE for their latest release Battlefield 3. Victory Games will be in charge of development as BioWare Victory.

Arenanet dropped a new Guild Wars 2 trailer this morning. It shows of some nice effects and a lot of different races in combat, and we are pleasantly surprised about the quality of the graphics. It’s a very big improvement from the first Guildwars. There are good times coming for all the MMORPG fans out there! Rumour: Mirror’s Edge 2 Using Frostbite 2?

Electronic Arts has been saying for a while now that the Mirror’s Edge franchise will return one day. Recent rumours have made clear that this “one day” is approaching fast while more details seem to pop up. Official PlayStation Magazine tips the sequel to return on Frostbite 2 with reassuring certainty. “The Frostbite 2 engine will pave the way for Mirror’s Edge to make a free-running return,” says the magazine.

New Arma 3 in-game Screenshots

Brand new Arma 3 in-game screenshots showed up on the Arma 3 facebook page! The screenshots show some nice looking foillage, a good looking F-22 Raptor flying at high altitude, and a highly detailed armored vehicle. New Silent Hill HD Footage

Konami has released some new footage of the Silent Hill HD Collection at the ComicCon. The Silent Hill HD Collection includes Silent Hill 2 and 3 with trophy support and redone voice overs. This off-screen trailer shows some nice graphics and even more scary looking creatures, so the Playstation 3 owners will be able to creep out on the good old Silent Hill’s later this year.

Need For Speed SHIFT 2: Speedhunters DLC Free for PC

Prototype 2 Drops Action Trailer for E3 2011

Activision have released their debut E3 action trailer for the upcoming Prototype 2. Showing off some infected monsters, some military, and some of the shape shifting protagonist gruesomely destroying all of the above. Oh and did I mention he seems really pissed off and that he really has an axe to grind with helicopters?
