It’s the best time of the year if you are a race freak. The release of F1 2011 and now the demo released 11 days before the official launch of Forza Motorsport 4. Although the update is only available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers taking up at least 1,2 GB of hard-drive space for a nice ride in the Bernese Alps. Eidos Montreal has just released a new walkthrough movie to promote The Missing Link, a Deus Ex DLC. Narrated by game designer Mary DeMarle, the video shows off some in game footage with tips and tricks commentary from the upcoming Deus Ex HR add-on which is due out next month. The premise of this DLC is that at the start Adam Jensen’s cybernetic augmentations are somehow disabled which means you have to play the game using slightly different strategies and approaches taking into account his regular human strengths and weaknesses. It’s a good day for everyone who are planning to buy Battlefield 3 and is a proud owner of an Playstation 3. DICE officially announced that all full blown Battlefield 3 downloadable content packages will appear at least one week early exclusively on PlayStation 3. Currently the only DLC package that we know off is “Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand” which will be released later this year.

A rather humorous mash-up video titled Deus Ex Unreal Revolution has been put together and surfaced online yesterday. It shows off game footage from the original cult Deus Ex title from 11 years ago augmented with features from the latest Deus Ex Human Revolution to show us what it just might have been like. SEGA and The Creative Assembly have dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Rise of the Samurai, a Shogun 2 Total War DLC which is due out this coming month of September 2011. The DLC sets the stage of Shogun 2 400 years before the Sengoku period with one of six playable clans from the three great families: Taira, Minamoto and Fujiwara. The Call of Duty Black Ops Escalation DLC map pack which was confirmed last week has a new video trailer out showing us a brief preview of some of the new maps to be included. Among the maps, we see preview footage of Hotel, Convoy, Zoo and Stockpile with some Treyarch developer commentary for each. The DLC pack will be releasing on the 3rd of May 2011 on Xbox Live, however no PC release date has been confirmed yet.
