Fresh Crysis 3 details have been leaked via a russian link aggregation site, which claims the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC threequel will release in spring 2013. Electronic Arts was forced to acknowledge the leaks today and stated that more information will be following next week. Crysis 3 will take place in a heavily destroyed New York which has become “almost a jungle”, thus combining the settings of the first and second games. Battlefield 3 Fresh Screenshots

Five new screenshots were just uploaded on the official Battlefield 3 facebook page. A few screenshots are showing off the map caspian border including a screenshot of the battlemap. Caspian Border which was also featured in the latest full action trailer released last night at the Gamescom. The screenshots are really high resolution so if you like Battlefield 3 as much as we do we advice you to use one of these as you desktop background!

Rumour: Mirror’s Edge 2 Using Frostbite 2?

Electronic Arts has been saying for a while now that the Mirror’s Edge franchise will return one day. Recent rumours have made clear that this “one day” is approaching fast while more details seem to pop up. Official PlayStation Magazine tips the sequel to return on Frostbite 2 with reassuring certainty. “The Frostbite 2 engine will pave the way for Mirror’s Edge to make a free-running return,” says the magazine.

EA Sports: “Really excited” about new studio in Texas

EA Sports is going to open a new studio in Austin, Texas. According to the company’s official announcement Austin is “consistently recognized as one of the most inventive, creative, wired and rockin’ cities in America”. EA announces launch date for FIFA 12

Electronic Arts has announced that the official release date for FIFA 12 will be at the end of September in the US and EU. The US will get it on September 27, with Europe to follow on September 30 on PS3, 360 and PC. EA also said that the new impact engine which was only introduced on the consoles will also get a place in the PC version.
