Command and Conquer: Generals 2 Confirmed

The vague screenshot shown a month ago was a sneak peak of the new Generals title in the Command & Conquer franchise. Bioware confirmed that the game is due to launch in 2013 exclusively for PC during the VGA’s a few days ago. Command & Conquer: Generals 2 will run on the new frostbite 2 engine which was developed originally by DICE for their latest release Battlefield 3. Victory Games will be in charge of development as BioWare Victory.

Battlefield 3 – Operation Guillotine off-screen Footage

Off-screen footage have showed up from the Tokyo Game Show this week. It shows actual live gameplay footage of the night mission better known as: Operation Guillotine. EA is really taking Battlefield promotion to the next level as the official release date is coming closer and closer. Battlefield 3 will be available on October 25th.

Serious Sam 3 Release Trailer

You shoot things and they die. Serious Sam has never been about headshots or involved team based mechanics. Hearkening back to the old school FPS genre, it’s about fast paced, arcade style fun. Based on this trailer, Serious Sam 3:BFE looks to be more of the same. And I’m really ok with that.

Battlefield 3 promo just keeps pouring it on (E3 2011)

Without a doubt the best proper in game footage of the upcoming Battlefield 3 (BF3) that we’ve seen so far. EA/Dice have dropped three new videos on to YouTube since the start of E3 2011. As usual, they are mint. Does anybody know who/whom is producing/editing all these BF3 teaser videos? The guy(s) is definitely good and building himself quite the rep if he keeps this up! They are truly owning it up in the in-game footage department for BF3 and the latest Frostbite engine is looking pretty pretty good! [...]

US Army goes with CryEngine 3 for Military Simulator

The United Sates Army has decided to spend $57 million USD to enlist the help of Intelligent Decisions Inc. and Real Time Immersive Inc. utilizing the CryEngine 3 with the goal of developing the most realistic military simulator to date. The vast majority of the $57 million price tag for this technology will be going towards the actual equipment, which will feature the most advanced motion-tracking technology available today and a bunch of commercial off the shelf made in China/Taiwan hardware.
