Or: How to piss off everyone in 10 emails or less. Webcomic behemoth Penny Arcade has just posted a series of emails between Ocean Marketing and a pre-order customer named Dave. It is not a pretty sight. UPDATE 27-Dec @ 10 PM GMT: Apparently large amounts of Ocean Marketing’s website are plagiarized from other websites. See the Reddit thread here.

Command and Conquer: Generals 2 Confirmed

The vague screenshot shown a month ago was a sneak peak of the new Generals title in the Command & Conquer franchise. Bioware confirmed that the game is due to launch in 2013 exclusively for PC during the VGA’s a few days ago. Command & Conquer: Generals 2 will run on the new frostbite 2 engine which was developed originally by DICE for their latest release Battlefield 3. Victory Games will be in charge of development as BioWare Victory.

Insomniac Confirms Resistance 3 Public Beta Dates

Insomniac Games confirmed that the Resistance 3 Public Beta will become available on August 4 in the US and August 10 in the EU. The Playstation plus subscribers in the EU will get VIP access to the beta from August 10. You will then be able to download the client from the PS Plus store. If you are not subscribed to Playstation Plus you will have to wait for “further opportunities to get into the Beta after this date”.
