BIS drops sort of new ArmA 3 Intel Update

A few minutes ago Bohemia Interactive released some new ArmA 3 information regarding the latest installment of the award winning milsim due out in the summer of 2012. So far several small intel updates have been made to the main arma3.com site to provide a little more information and media about the personnel, armory, factions and environment. Codemasters new F1 2011 “Season So Far” trailer

A couple days ago at the now finished Gamescom, Codemasters released their new F1 2011 promo trailer entitled “Season so Far” which we’ve included the video of below. While we came across it earlier we just didn’t get around to posting it until now. Sorry but better late than never right? Anyways Codemasters even went to the trouble of publicizing the fact that the video shows off for the first time some of that highly sought after Mercedes AMG safety car footage.

New Arma 3 Underwater Screenshots (GC 2011)

New Arma 3 screenshots have emerged to the surface at the Gamescom 2011. The screenshots show the newly added underwater scene like we haven’t seen before, ship wrecks and plane wrecks laying silently on the bottom of the sea. Bohemia Interactive definitely made the right choice by finally adding the ability to go underwater, instead of the clumsy swimming and losing all of your gear at the same time. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon 2 New Trailers (GC 2011)

Namco Bandai have dumped a small media barrage today at Gamescom with new trailers and a bunch of new screenshots for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, showing off some high action Hollywood’esc footage jam packed with loads of choppers and airplanes engaged in all out aerial carnage. They’ve also offered little info on the game’s customization options and some single and multiplayer footage for the upcoming arcade style flight game. Check them out below if you’re interested, they’re pretty well made actually.

GoldenEye 007 Reloaded Gamescom Trailer

Activision has just let out the new trailer for GoldenEye 007 Reloaded revealing the MI6 Ops game modes such as Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defence objectives. I’m not sure if any Goldeneye game can ever possibly stack up to the classic N64 version of 007 but for the modern times, this seems to look pretty decent and like quite a bit of fun. The new brand new trailer can be found below. The game is expected out on Xbox 360 and PS3 in November 2011.

Hot Assassins Creed Revelations Gameplay Trailer from GC

Prototype 2 Gamescom Storyline trailer

The new Prototype 2 trailer from Activision is now available and honestly it’s a bit of a disappointment to me personally but that’s purely because it hardly contains any in game footage, or if it does it seems to be highly edited and spliced together. Rather it focuses on some storyline information and narrative. While the prior Prototype 2 videos showed the gameplay off better, this one is still worth a quick gander if you’re into this game and want a bit more background story. Trailer below.

The Secret World CGI Trailer (GC 2011)

Again Funcom made an awesome CGI trailer for The Secret World showing all “races” in the same video. For the people that have been living under a rock: The Secret World is a new MMORPG developed by Funcom and is a tale of mysteries and mythology played out on Earth. Hidden in our world is another world where magic exists, monsters roam, and evil forces fight for the control of our world. The Secret World will be available on PC and Xbox360 in April 2012.

Arenanet dropped a new Guild Wars 2 trailer this morning. It shows of some nice effects and a lot of different races in combat, and we are pleasantly surprised about the quality of the graphics. It’s a very big improvement from the first Guildwars. There are good times coming for all the MMORPG fans out there! Starhawk drops new CGI Trailer (GC 2011)

LightBox Studio the creators of Warhawk have just released a new CGI game trailer for the upcoming PS3 multiplayer 3rd person shooter / RTS Starhawk. It shows off some good old fashioned ground pounding infantry and vehicle combat and also takes us on a little panoramic flight up into the planet’s atmosphere showing off some spaceships dog fighting each other. I know it’s just CGI but it still might interest some, and the game itself seems to be shaping up quite nicely, we’ll see about getting some straight in game [...]

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception Airport Trailer (GC 2011)

Naughty Dog just released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception the PS3 exclusive title during Sony’s press conference earlier today at GC 2011 in Cologne. It’s basically a cinematic trailer with CGI showing off an action scene taking place at an airport involving a jet taking off an airfield, and the main protagonist boarding that jet and causing havoc. Driver San Francisco Multiplayer Demo Announced with Trailer (GC 2011)

Earlier today at GC Ubisoft released a new Driver San Francisco trailer showing off the game’s multiplayer modes and announcing that a multiplayer demo will be released alongside the game’s single player demo which was already announced earlier on.
