This weekend, CryTek announced the release of the latest version of the free CryEngine 3 SDK, version 3.4 which supports new and revamped features including some highly anticipated DirectX 11 features among its core updates. Capcom has moved forward the release date of Resident Evil 6 by a month pushing it to October 2nd 2012 instead of November 20th. Capcom starts the second week of 2012 with releasing a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The awesome looking CG trailer shows a fight between US Spec Ops and Umbrella in Raccoon city. To complete the total mayhem the city is also over run with blood thirsty zombies attacking everything that comes on their path! Ace Combat Assault Horizon demo celebrated with Plot trailer

Today Namco Bandai announced that their Ace Combat: Assault Horizon demo which was made available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last month has been downloaded over 1.2 million times already. Those are some pretty impressive numbers indeed. While there’s been loads of new player made gameplay videos uploaded over the past month, Namco have themselves today released a little storyline trailer of sorts to celebrate the demo’s huge success.
